< back to blog This year why not create your own bespoke advent calendar with Gorilla Mounting Tape Squares! This project is super easy, you can mount your treat filled bags to a variety of surfaces, such as picture frames or recycled wooden boards. We decided to use a chalkboard to allow a personal message to be added every day. You can choose the colours, materials and styles to create something completely bespoke and personalised for your loved ones and, of course, pick their favourite treats to go in the calendar.   What you will need -Gorilla Mounting Tape Squares -Gorilla Super Glue Gel -Black board, picture frames or a wooden board -Small favour bags -Ribbon or string -Felt numbers -Treats for each day   Tutorial 1.Start by adding the felt numbers to your bags. Apply a drop of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to the felt numbers and then position on the bags. Press the two surfaces together for 10-45 seconds and allow 24 hours for a full cure.   2.Fill each bag with your chosen treats, ensuring you don’t overload them.   3.Punch a hole into each of the bags around the handles. Thread a piece of ribbon through the hole and tie in a bow at the front of the bag.   4.Add a Gorilla Mounting Tape Square to the back of each bag and press to secure.   5.Remove the clear top liner and align each bag to the desired placement on your chosen surface. Press firmly as the square adheres to the surface and creates a strong, permanent bond.   6.Once all bags are mounted you can add some festive decoration, and if you are using a chalkboard can add your personalised message.
