#WHAT IS THE GORILLA LIFETIME GUARANTEE? / +Gorilla Glue Europe Limited of PO Box 663, Chorley, PR7 6PU, guarantees that its sealant products (Kitchen & Bathroom Sealant White, Kitchen & Bathroom Sealant Clear, Window & Door Frame Sealant White, Window & Door Frame Sealant Clear) will meet the indicated performance properties set out on the packaging for the lifetime of the unit, structure or material to which it is applied. If you are not satisfied with the product, please return proof of purchase or the remaining product to us at the above address for a replacement product or refund. The refund will not exceed the full price of the product. This guarantee is only valid in the United Kingdom and is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights. You may transfer this guarantee to a person who has acquired your property, but we may require the person to whom the guarantee is transferred to provide reasonable evidence that the guarantee has been transferred to them. The guarantee is not valid if the failure of the product to comply with the performance properties arises as a result of: 1. #IS GORILLA SEALANT MOULD RESISTANT? / +Yes, all of our Gorilla Sealants are mould resistant once cured. Cured sealant must be cleaned regularly to prevent growth. Our sealants have been tested to the required external standard, EN 15651-3. #IS THE NOZZLE ON GORILLA SEALANT REUSABLE? / +Yes. Keep the nozzle attached after use and wipe away any excess product before replacing the cap. Any sealant still in the nozzle can be left to cure completely, then manually removed for next use.

#CAN GORILLA SEALANT BE USED INDOORS AND OUTDOORS? / +Yes, all of our Gorilla Sealants have been tested and approved for use on both indoor and outdoor applications. They have been tested to the required external standard EN 15651-1 F-INT-EXT-CC. This means that it has been proven to work on building exteriors (F = facade), both indoors and outdoors (INT-EXT), and has also been confirmed in cold climates (CC), so it won’t fail in freezing conditions. #HOW SOON CAN GORILLA SEALANT BE EXPOSED TO WATER? / +Gorilla Sealants can be exposed to water after 30 minutes, based on a 5mm bead at 21°C and 50% humidity. Full cure is achieved in 24 hours, though this will increase with lower temperature, lower humidity and larger bead size.

#WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GORILLA SEALANT AND THE GORILLA WATERPROOFING RANGE? / +Gorilla Sealants are designed to seal a gap, joint or edge, to specifically stop water, dust or moisture getting through. They are made of silicone and often remain soft and flexible once cured. Our Waterproofing range is designed to seal and protect surfaces against leaks and are intended on a wider range of application areas/substrates, including guttering, drainpipes and tiles. Our sealants are available in a cartridge and must be used in a cartridge gun. Our Waterproofing range offers different methods of applying – tapes, liquids and a spray. #WHAT IS GORILLA SEALANT’S TEMPERATURE TOLERANCE? / +Gorilla Sealants should be applied between 4°C and 37°C, it applies best above 5°C. Once cured, Gorilla sealants can withstand temperatures between -40°C and 176°C.

#HOW DO I REMOVE GORILLA SEALANT FROM MY SURFACE? / +Any wet/uncured sealant can be removed immediately with a dry cloth. Isopropyl alcohol can be used, according to solvent manufacturer’s instructions. For cured/dried Sealant use mechanical means such as scraping or sanding.

#HOW DO I REMOVE GORILLA SEALANT FROM MY SKIN? / +Wipe off as much sealant as possible with a dry cloth. When the majority of the sealant has been removed, wash skin thoroughly with soap and warm water.

#WHAT IS THE APPROXIMATE SHELF LIFE OF GORILLA SEALANT? / +The approximate shelf life of Gorilla Sealant is up to 3 years, unopened from date of manufacture. Once opened there is no standard time, it will be dependent on storage conditions and age of the product, up to 6 months is a good guideline.

#IS GORILLA KITCHEN & BATH SEALANT FOOD SAFE? / +Gorilla Glue Kitchen & Bathroom Sealants are not recommended for direct or indirect food contact and should not be considered food safe.

#CAN GORILLA SEALANT BE USED ON METAL APPLICATIONS? / +Yes, Gorilla Sealants can be used on most metal surfaces, provided they are clean, dry and free from grease, oil and old sealant. They cannot be used on metals sensitive to corrosion or galvanised metals. Do not use Gorilla Sealant on wet, frozen or contaminated surfaces.

#IS GORILLA SEALANT PAINTABLE? / +No, due to their composition, our range of Gorilla Sealants are not paintable. They are made of silicone, which is a material that paint cannot adhere to.

#WHAT APPLICATIONS WILL GORILLA SEALANTS WORK WELL WITH? / +Our range of Gorilla Sealants can be used on a wide range of substrates including window/door frames, uPVC, laminate, granite, stone, ceramic, wood, gutters, facades, showers, toilets, baths, sinks and worktops. It works on metal however cannot be used on metals sensitive to corrosion or galvanised metals. It also works on glass, though we would not recommend use on broken glass. It is not for use on wet, frozen or contaminated surfaces, or in underwater applications, aquariums, on brick or cementitious materials.
