Prepare
Surfaces must be flat, clean, dry and free of dirt and oil. Clean all surfaces with isopropyl alcohol according to manufacturer’s instructions. Remove plastic film at the start of the roll before first use.
1. APPLY
Apply tape to back of object vertically. Cut tape to size: Use 7cm of Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape per 1kg of weight. Press to secure tape to object.
2. POSITION
Remove liner and align object to desired placement. For easier liner removal, pinch and stretch a corner of the adhesive until the liner lifts from the tape. Press firmly for 60 seconds to create a strong, permanent bond. Carefully release the object.
Important:
- This is a permanent tape and may cause damage or leave residue if removed.
- Do not use if injury could result from item falling
- Holding weights stated are based upon strict adherence to the directions on pack. Usage on objects over 19mm in depth and/or applying tape horizontally significantly reduces product performance. Application to uneven surfaces significantly reduces holding strength.
- Wall quality and finish may impact performance on painted walls and wallpaper.
- Not suitable for polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) plastics

#WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GORILLA MOUNTING TAPES? / +Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape is our strongest Mounting Tape and can be used for a variety of applications inside the home. It can hold up to 20kg per roll (7cm of tape required per kg of weight). Gorilla Crystal Clear Mounting Tape can be used indoors and out when you need a discreet bond that’s crystal clear. It can hold up to 6kg per roll (23cm of tape required per kg of weight). Gorilla Heavy Duty Mounting Tape is for great for when you need a strong, permanent hold outdoors (it can be used indoors too). It can hold up to 12kg per roll (12cm of tape required per kg of weight). All stated weight claims are based on aluminium to aluminium when the product is used strictly in accordance with directions on pack. Tape applied vertically in strips evenly distributed across surface.
#HOW DO I REMOVE GORILLA MAX STRENGTH INDOOR MOUNTING TAPE FROM THE ROLL? / +Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape can be torn by hand or cut using scissors according to your preference.
#WHY CAN’T I USE GORILLA MAX STRENGTH INDOOR MOUNTING TAPE ON OBJECTS DEEPER THAN 19MM? / +The holding weight for Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape is based on objects with a maximum depth of 19mm. Objects over 19mm in depth put more stress on the bond and have an increased chance of failure.
#CAN GORILLA MAX STRENGTH INDOOR MOUNTING TAPE BE USED ON UNEVEN SURFACES? / +The thickness of the adhesive layer allows Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape to grip rough, textured and smooth surfaces. All surfaces must be even and level to ensure maximum contact. Uneven surfaces will have an increased chance of failure.
#HOW MUCH GORILLA MAX STRENGTH INDOOR MOUNTING TAPE DO I NEED TO USE? / +With correct usage and optimum conditions, you will need approximately 7cm of Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape per 1kg of weight.
#HOW DO I REMOVE GORILLA MAX STRENGTH INDOOR MOUNTING TAPE FROM MY SURFACE? / +Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage or leave residue if removed. If Mounting Tape must be removed, the mounted object should be removed first, which is best be achieved by prying from one corner. Mounting tape can then be removed by slowly stretching the tape away from the surface.
#WILL GORILLA MAX STRENGTH INDOOR MOUNTING TAPE WORK ON PLASTIC? / +Gorilla Max Strength Indoor Mounting Tape works well on many plastics, however, it does not work on certain low surface energy plastics, such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP).
