Gorilla Waterproof Wrap & Seal
PREPARE
1. Clean surface and cut the tape to the desired length.
2. Remove the liner.
3. The tape is self-fusing and will stick to itself when put together.
APPLY
1. Press tape firmly against the surface you want to cover, then stretch it and wrap it whilst applying tension.
2. Start with one full wrap around the object, and then continue wrapping with a ½ overlap.
3. On the final layer, wrap the tape completely over itself. Tape layers will fuse instantly. Allow 5-10 minutes before using the repaired areas. To remove, use scissors or a knife to cut the tape.
APPLICATION TIPS
• Short lengths of tape (< 30cm/1 foot) are recommended for easier wrapping than longer lengths. The higher the stretch, the better/more secure the seal.
• To enhance protection, apply a final layer with light tension. This ensures the wrap covers everything, safeguarding the surface below.
• When sealing leaks, begin wrapping from the opposite side of the leak. This will ensure there isn’t a crease for water or air to escape.
• Non-pressurised applications, such as grip wrapping, need minimal stretch.
• Pressurised leaks require multiple layers to ensure a tough seal.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place in the original packaging to prevent edge dirt and debris.

We would recommend using Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal to patch a leak, whereas Gorilla Wrap & Seal Tape would be recommended for a use application where you can wrap around, for example a pipe.

Gorilla Waterproof Wrap & Seal quickly stops leaks in all types of piping, including plastic and metal.
