BUILD, FIX AND REPAIR
Gorilla Glue Clear Gel
PREPARE
All surfaces must be clean, tight-fitting and free of dirt, grease and oil. Avoid contact with clothing as Gorilla Glue Clear Gel will stain clothes.
APPLY
1. For lighter weight projects: Apply Gorilla Glue Clear Gel to one surface. Position and press surfaces firmly together within 5 minutes.
2. For heavier weight projects*: Apply on both surfaces in thin, even layers. Leave for 3-5 minutes. Once Gorilla Glue Clear Gel has become tacky, press items together firmly. Grip or use Gorilla Tape® to hold objects together. Maintain gripping pressure for at least 2 hours.
Full cure in 24 hours. Not recommended for use on polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) plastics.
*For most projects, clamping is not necessary; however, it will help achieve maximum bond strength.
STORAGE
After each use, wipe nozzle clean with a dry cloth and replace lid – do not overtighten. Cured glue may be removed by scraping from surface. Store in a cool, dry place with exposure to light. Lack of light and heat can cause product to yellow. Store away from children and animals.

It is an easy-to-use, all-purpose adhesive available in a user-friendly tube. Our Gorilla Glue Clear formula is crystal clear, requires clamping and is a thinner formula than Gorilla Glue Clear Gel. We would recommend using Gorilla Glue Clear Gel for projects which are not able to be clamped, or for vertical/precision projects where it’s important that the glue doesn’t run/drip.
#How is Gorilla Glue Clear Gel different from Gorilla Contact Adhesive? / +Gorilla Glue Clear Gel is an all-purpose formula, whereas Contact Adhesive is a solvent-based formula. We would recommend using Contact Adhesive for projects where a flexible or waterproof bond is required, for example, on fabrics, leather, etc. Gorilla Glue Clear Gel is better suited for stronger, rigid, or vertical projects, such as glass or metal. #What is the cure time of Gorilla Glue Clear Gel? / +Gorilla Glue Clear Gel has an open working time of 5 minutes. Once surfaces have been pressed together, the glue will take a minimum of 2 hours to cure, but we advise waiting 24 hours for full cure. For heavier projects, apply glue to both surfaces in thin, even layers and leave for 3-5 minutes, until it becomes tacky, then press together firmly. Grip or use Gorilla Tape to hold objects together and maintain the gripping pressure for at least 2 hours.

#How do I remove Gorilla Glue Clear Gel from my surface? / +To clean up whilst the glue is wet, wipe the adhesive with a dry cloth and clean with isopropyl alcohol. If the glue has dried, gently scrape the surface to remove, being careful not to damage the surface underneath.
#How do I remove Gorilla Glue Clear Gel from my skin? / +Wipe the adhesive with a dry cloth, then wash the area with soap and water. Rinse well with plenty of water.
#What is the temperature range of Gorilla Glue Clear Gel? / +Gorilla Glue Clear Gel is best applied at room temperature, but can be applied between 0°C and 37°C (32°F and 100°F). Once cured, it will hold strong between -29°C and 82°C (-20°F and 180°F). Exposing the glue to temperatures outside of this range may degrade the bond.

Its thick, non-drip formula lends itself to vertical or precise applications. It will work on plastics; however, it is not recommended for use on polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) plastics. For rubber applications, we advise roughening the surface prior to use.

However, it is not waterproof and cannot be used in applications which are permanently exposed to water or submerged.
